As a Washington State OSPI approved online provider, MSE offers a wide range of asynchronous online courses. All courses are set up per semester lasting 18 weeks (9 weeks for Credit Recovery).
Credit Recovery is only for students who have previously failed the course. All credit recovery courses are 9 weeks in length and cost $229 per semester. Credit Recovery courses are graded on a Pass/Fail basis.

Algebra 2 Honors A/B
Honors Algebra 2 further extends the learner’s understanding of major algebra concepts such as expressions, equations, functions, and inequalities. An emphasis will be placed on the use of appropriate functions to model real-world situations and solve problems that arise from those situations. A focus is also on graphing functions by hand and understanding and identifying the parts of a graph. In the honors course, students will do in-depth study, problem-solving, and application of algebraic concepts. Honors Algebra 2 builds on the concepts learned in the first semester and prepares the learners with the building blocks needed to dive deeper into trigonometry, pre-calculus, and advanced probability and statistics. In the honors course, students will do in-depth study, problem-solving, and application of algebraic concepts.
