We get this question a lot. We are accredited by Cognia, a global leader in educational improvement and assessment. Why does this matter?
Accreditation shows that the school has high academic standards and that the credit earned will transfer to other schools. Accreditation also indicates that the school has passed through a rigorous assessment process and is striving to continuously improve learning outcomes for students.
MSE has just finished the lengthy process of renewing our accreditation. What that means is that we spent the last several months collecting data, sending surveys, writing reports, and gathering evidence to present to our accrediting agency, Cognia. Pages upon pages of organizational research and data was presented to our Cognia review team. They did many interviews with our administration, our students, and their parents. They took all the research, data and nterview responses, and determined that we are successfully providing excellent education. As a result, we are now accredited for another 6 years!
So when you register your student for a class at MSE, you can rest assured that the education received has been vetted and approved by an international accrediting body, and the credits earned will transfer anywhere.
